We have answered some of the common questions we get asked about our Virtual Server (VPS) Hosting solutions.

Am I required to sign a long-term VPS contract?
No, all VPS plans have a minimum term of 1 month and may be cancelled at any time. Domains have a minimum term of 1 year and may be discontinued if you so wish.
Can I change to another VPS plan at no charge?
Yes. You may move between plans at any time without charge. If you upgrade you will be required to pay the difference between the two packages for the time remaining on your billing cycle.
Do you have an SLA (service level agreement)?
Yes. We are committed to achieving near-100% uptime. We guarantee you 99.99% uptime and will issue you a credit for any additional downtime you experience, except planned maintenance. Downtime is measured from the time you submit a ticket informing us of the downtime to the time the server is reported to be back online. 1 days credit for each 15 minutes outage.
Can I reboot my VPS anytime?
Yes, we provide full lights out management. This consists of power, serial console and system recovery.
What kind of backups do you make?
Managed VPS include R1soft 4 x daily backups. Unmanaged VPS are not backed unless you have chosen to add the backup service starting from £20+vat per month.
Do you provide a FULL slave DNS service?
Yes, we provide a FULL slave DNS service using redundant DNS servers.
Do you offer any discounts on VPS plans?
Yes. Some of our VPS plans include 25% discount for annual payments.
Do you provide Reverse DNS service?
Yes RDNS is provided, raise a ticket to get these set.
Does the VPS support TUN devices?
Yes, TUN is fully supported as standard.
Does the VPS support iptables?
Yes, full iptables support is standard.
