Many companies offer this server, but most only offer DNS based solutions that simply do not work.
Our Global Load Balancing solution is based upon Layer4 switching, an extremely fast and efficient way to scale to hundred's of thousands of simultaneous connections.
Layer 4 switching works by multiplexing incoming TCP/IP connections and UDP/IP datagram's to your servers. As it receives the packets a decision is made as to which server to forward the packets to. Once this decision is made, subsequent packets from the same connection will be sent to the same server, unless that server fails at which point another server from the pool is selected.
